TRAINING REGIMEN

The training regimen for our inflatable free-standing Punch-N-Bibi doll should focus on light-to-moderate striking technique, speed, accuracy, and cardio.  Please note, this doll is not designed for heavy, full-power strikes.

 GENERAL APPROACH
Warm-up
Always start with a 5-minute warm-up, including jumping jacks and shadow boxing, to loosen muscles and prevent injury.

Technique over Power
Inflatable bob dolls are best for developing proper form, speed, and timing, rather than maximum power. Focus on executing techniques correctly.

Distance and Footwork
The doll's movement when struck forces you to adapt your distance and footwork, which is a valuable training aspect. Practice moving around the bag.

Listen to Your Body
Start with two to three sessions per week, with adequate recovery time to prevent overuse injuries.

SAMPLE 20-MINUTE BEGINNER WORKOUT
This workout is structured in rounds, similar to a boxing match, with short active rests in between.

Round Duration Focus
Warm-up 5 mins Shadow boxing, jumping jacks, dynamic stretches
Round 1 3 mins Jab-Cross Combo: Throw a jab (lead hand) followed by a cross (rear hand) continuously. Emphasize speed and good form
Round 2 3 mins Jab-Cross-Hook Combo: Add a hook (lead hand) after the jab-cross sequence. Alternate between head and body hooks
Round 3 3 mins Uppercut Combination: Double jab, cross, and follow up with alternating uppercuts (left and right). Drive power from your legs and core
Round 4 3 mins Defense and Counter: Practice slipping or ducking imaginary punches, then counter with a quick combination. Keep your guard up
Round 5 2 mins High-Intensity Finish: Rapid-fire, high-speed punches focusing on various combinations to push your cardio and endurance
Cool-down 1 min+ Light jogging in place, followed by static stretching for arms, shoulders, back, and legs

TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE TRAINING
Visualize
Treat the bag as an opponent to practice targeting specific areas like the chin, eyes, or throat (for self-defense training).

Varied Strikes
Incorporate kicks and knee strikes if your bag is tall enough and your discipline allows for a full-body workout.

Stay Hydrated
Keep water nearby and take breaks as needed.

Safety
Ensure the area around the bag is clear of sharp objects or anything you might trip over.
